new moon yin yoga | friday 15 may

Intention, stillness, beginning

FULLY BOOKED

The New Moon is invisible: this is the moment in the lunar cycle when the sky goes dark and something quietly resets. Yin Yoga - slow, floor-based, held, is the perfect practice for this threshold. Follow long, still poses that invite you to turn inward, release what no longer serves, and set intention for what’s next.

Come with no agenda and no expectations. This is a practice of surrender, not performance. All levels welcome - no previous yoga experience needed.

After Practice Menu:
Crunchy halloumi wedges, chilli jam | white bean hummus, harissa, pine nuts, flatbread with garlic oil and sea salt | Caprese salad | potato rosti, herb yoghurt | pickled fennel and carrot salad | chunk chips, rosemary salt | house green salad, honey and mustard dressing | New Moon Sangria - 0% alc, fruit-steeped, served by the carafe

Southernhay House Hotel Green Room    Friday 15th May |   6pm with Taya

solstice eve vinyasa | saturday 20 june

on the eve of the longest day

FULLY BOOKED

Tomorrow, the sun reaches its highest point in the sky: the Summer Solstice, the peak of the solar year. Tonight, we move to meet it. This Vinyasa session is dynamic, breath-led and energising: a flowing practice that builds heat, opens the body and feels like a conscious greeting.

Feel the liminal charge of anticipation, the sense of standing at a threshold. Come ready to move and leave feeling the full length of the longest day ahead of you. Beginners welcome: move at your own pace and set your own practice.

After Practice Menu:
Crunchy halloumi wedges, chilli jam | white bean hummus, harissa, pine nuts, flatbread with garlic oil and sea salt | Caprese salad | potato rosti, herb yoghurt | pickled fennel and carrot salad | chunk chips, rosemary salt | house green salad, honey and mustard dressing | Solstice Sangria - 0% alc, citrus and stone fruit, served by the carafe

full moon yin yoga | wednesday 29 july

illuminate, release, reset

£25 per head

The Full Moon is the moment of completion: the lunar cycle at its most luminous, when everything hidden comes into the light. Yin Yoga meets that energy with stillness: deep unhurried poses held long enough to let the body open and the mind settle. A practice for letting go of what the summer has accumulated, and resting in what remains.

This is an evening session designed to leave you deeply calm. Expect candlelight, quiet and a long Savasana. As always, all levels welcome.

Full Moon Sangria - 0% alc, dark berry, served by the carafe
