Dreaming of times past and of tomorrow

In a nod to the history of Southernhay House, our bedrooms are all named after trades which drove the economy of the region in the 18th and 19th centuries. The rooms are individually designed, furnished and finished but are by no means “themed”; all have beautiful limestone bathrooms with “rain showers”, antique furniture and glorious, huge beds to guarantee a good night’s sleep.

For us, a hotel room should be luxurious but easy to understand; you may have only one night here and you don’t want to waste time working out the switching... so we have spent time on the details.
