A journey worth making

Taking a tip from 800 years of travellers, navigate by the Cathedral's spires and find your way to Southernhay on "visual".

Rail: nearest major station Exeter St David's (5 mins taxi ride) or Exeter Central (walkable)

Air: Exeter International Airport (20 minutes taxi ride)

Road: junction 30 off M5, follow signs to city centre and thence Southernhay. Post code EX11NX.

Car parking: Southernhay has a short sweep of drive where you can drop off bags, check in and find your bearings. We have no parking but reasonably priced and safe parking is available in a number of car parks very close by. If you are unable to walk the short distance from the car park, or need any special assistance, please let us know and we will valet park or help in any way we can.

Taxis: please let us know if you would like a taxi at any time during your stay.

Bicycles: we provide bike racks just next to the House.

During your stay: Exeter is a very walkable city and we would encourage you to explore on foot. Please ask us for independent shopping ideas, historic trails and further information if you would like some guidance on "insider" routes.
